Protecting Your License

Depending on the nature of your alleged offense, you may be in danger of having your driver’s license suspended or revoked. Some traffic violations (such as drunk driving offenses) may result in the immediate suspension of your license, while others will result in the accumulation of points on your driving record. If you accrue enough points, you may be subjected to administrative penalties, such as a license suspension. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does Paying the Fine Mean I Plead Guilty?

    Answer:

Many people can be tempted to pay a ticket in order to move on from the situation; however, this can have far reaching consequences. Typically, paying a fine can be seen as an admission of guilt and accepting the legal ramifications associated with your offense. That is why it is critical to take legal action and understand your options before paying a traffic citation.

  • I’ve Been Arrested. What Can I Do?

    Answer:

If an officer decides to pace you under arrest following an alleged traffic offense, it is vital to understand your rights and take immediate legal action. While law enforcement may place you under intense pressure during questioning, you do not have to talk about your case without an attorney from our firm in your corner. Remember, you can exercise your Fifth Amendment right to remain silent.

  • Will I Be Charged with a Misdemeanor?

    Answer:

While many traffic offenses are charged as infractions, the more serious violations can be met with misdemeanor charges.
